What to keep ready before you apply for a phone on qist

You can apply on mobilistan.pk/apply from your own phone, or at any Mobilistan partner shop where the salesman fills in the same form with you. Either way, the questions are the same.

From you

• Your original CNIC. We take a photo of the front and the back. You need to be between 18 and 65.
• A selfie, taken right there in the form.
• A mobile number that has WhatsApp. We send a 6-digit code to it, and our team calls you on it.
• Your address, your work, and roughly what you earn in a month.

Someone who knows you

We ask for a guarantor, usually a family member: their name, how they are related to you, their mobile number, CNIC number and date of birth. They must be 18 or older and can’t use your number or CNIC. You don’t need their card with you, just the details.

We also ask for one more contact, someone we can call if we can’t reach you. Just a name and a number.

Three tips that save time

Take the CNIC photos in good light, flat on a table. Blurry pictures are the most common reason an application gets held up.

Tell your guarantor that we may call them, so they pick up.
