Every phone Mobilistan sells on qist carries device security, set up before the phone is handed to you. We don’t build that ourselves, and we don’t use anything from an unknown source. It comes from the companies behind the phones, through our official partnerships with them.

Who we work with

Mobilistan is an official partner of each of them for device security on phones sold on instalments. The security on your phone is the maker’s own, set up through the maker’s official channel.

Why that matters to you

It is built into the phone by the people who made it, so it doesn’t slow the phone down, doesn’t come as a strange app, and can’t be switched on by anyone outside the official system.

It does one job. If an instalment stays unpaid, the phone can be locked at 3 pm on the third day, after the reminders. Pay, and it opens again by itself, usually within a few minutes.

We don’t use it to read your messages, look at your photos, listen to your calls or go through your contacts, and it is never used to add money to what you owe.

When you finish paying

Pay your last instalment and the phone is fully yours. The device security is removed for good, and the phone works like any phone bought for cash.

Explained before you buy
